Terms of Use & End-User License Agreement

You declare that you are at least 15 years old (the minimum age required in France and the European Union for consenting to the processing of personal data).

If you are under 18, use of the application must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

You certify that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

OFFBET enables you to:

• Block 590,000+ known gambling websites and applications at the device level.
• Resist your own future impulses through PIN-protected uninstall prevention (Device Admin) and bypass detection (Android Accessibility Service).
• Filter DNS queries locally on your device using Android’s VpnService API — no traffic is tunnelled to an OFFBET server. See the Privacy Policy for technical details.
• Optionally share alerts with a trusted COMPANION when bypass attempts occur.

OFFBET is a self-protection tool, not a medical treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure gambling disorder. If you are in distress, please contact a professional or one of the helplines listed at the end of these terms.

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use OFFBET on your personal devices.

You are not permitted to:

• Resell, lend, or sublicense OFFBET.
• Use OFFBET on a shared or multi-user network without written consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, decrypt, or attempt to access the source code.
• Remove or obscure legal notices.
• Use OFFBET for illegal or harmful purposes.
• Disrupt or compromise our systems.
• Use our communication systems for spam.

• No more than 5 devices per account without prior authorisation. Associations and B2B partners with dedicated agreements may exceed this limit.
• Copies limited to backup purposes only.
• Merging OFFBET with other software without consent is prohibited.
• No use via shared systems or unintended remote access.
• Compliance with all applicable laws (export, cybersecurity, etc.).
• Introducing malicious code is strictly prohibited.
• Harassing our employees is strictly prohibited.

ESSENTIAL is free for everyone, worldwide, for ever — no subscription, no trial, no card, no email gate and no in-app purchases. COMPANION is also free at launch. From November 2026 it may add optional premium features at a small price, while the core blocking it provides stays free for anyone in active recovery. Nothing you rely on to stay protected will ever be moved behind a payment.

Some users choose to contribute to the running costs. A contribution is voluntary, buys nothing, and unlocks nothing: the product behaves identically whether you give or not. We ask once and never again.

Subscriptions taken out before this change remain governed by the terms accepted at the time and continue to be billed on their original cycle until cancelled. No new subscription can be taken out.

You may cancel an existing subscription at any time; access remains active until the end of the period already paid for.

In accordance with the Consumer Code, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal after purchase, unless you have expressly waived this right.

Except as required by law, periods already billed are not refunded automatically. Write to us and we will look at it — in practice we refund readily, and always where someone tells us they are in financial difficulty.

OFFBET and all of its components (software, logos, content, databases) are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, or distribution is prohibited.

OFFBET is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of error-free operation or permanent availability. We disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, etc.) to the maximum extent permitted by law.

No guarantee against every possible bypass. OFFBET works by blocking gambling domains via local DNS filtering, by intercepting common bypass attempts (third- party VPNs, Private DNS rerouting, DNS-over-HTTPS), and by resisting uninstall via Device Admin and Accessibility. These layers stop the great majority of realistic bypass paths but no consumer software can stop a determined user with root access, a second device, or significant technical skill. The app is one defence layer in a recovery strategy — not a substitute for self-discipline, accountability, or professional support.

OFFBET is not liable for indirect damages (loss of data, business, revenue, etc.).

Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you have actually paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold OFFBET harmless against any claims or costs resulting from your misuse of the service.

You may uninstall OFFBET at any time, subject to the PIN / COMPANION delay you configured for the anti-uninstall layer.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. We aim to give you reasonable notice except where immediate action is required (fraud, abuse, security threat).

Upon termination, your account data is retained for the period described in the Privacy Policy (up to 12 months for technical logs, deleted on request for everything else). You may also request immediate deletion via /delete-your-data/.

This agreement is governed by the laws of France.

Any disputes shall be brought before the competent courts of Paris, unless mandatory legal provisions dictate otherwise.

OFFBET may modify these terms at any time.

Significant changes will be notified and take effect 5 days after publication.

OFFBET may automatically release updates or patches to improve security and functionality.

These terms replace all prior agreements.

If any clause is deemed invalid, the remaining clauses shall continue to apply.

OFFBET may assign its rights and obligations to another entity.
